Confidently You: Embracing Your Authentic Self
A 6 session course to connect with yourself and feel more confident
I invite you to join me on a journey of self discovery and connection – to help you feel more confident and learn to trust your inner voice. I started planning and sowing the seed for this course almost exactly 2 years ago when I attended a specialist Trauma-Informed Yoga & Embodied Resilience Teacher Training. Since then I have done a lot of research, my own practice and continued developing the course in a gentle way that was respecting my time and energy.
During the 6 sessions you will:
- Learn about the 5 element theory and seasonal wellbeing model
- Connect with your unique energy and honour it through the seasons and stages in life
- Find tools to help you feel more connected with yourself through specific movement, acupressure points, breathing practices, meditation techniques and journaling prompts
- Have the courage to connect with your authentic path and what might be preventing you from doing this
- Learn to balance your energy through the seasonal cycle
- Build lasting habits to live your best, authentic life
- Learn to let go of the critical inner voice and stay true to your authentic voice

The course launches in January 2025 and is run for 6 sessions over 7 weeks (with a break during half term), all 18:30-20:00 and delivered online via zoom.

Why am I passionate to run this course
I have struggled with low self confidence and self trust all my life and I can wholeheartedly say I hear you and I know how you feel. I might come across as confident when I teach my classes or share something, but the truth is, it has taken a lot to get here and I still get wobbles. You don’t see the ‘behind the scenes’ edits, preparation, things that get deleted, the scrutinising of pictures I share and hours and hours of practice that has led me to where I am now.
In this fast paced world where we are influenced by so many things externally, we can loose the connection with our true selves which is at the heart of living our authentic life. My own practice and tools have really helped me to connect with my authentic self and embrace who I am leading to a more brave and confident me.
This 6 session course is a completely new offering which helps you to connect with your inner self, build your self confidence and self trust in a nurturing and supportive environment. I invite you to join me on a special journey where I share the practices and tools that have helped me. Over 6 weeks, we will dive into connecting with ourselves through gentle movement, meditation, journaling, intention setting and breathing practices following the seasonal cycles in nature.
What is a pilot course
The pilot course means that it is the first time I am running it. I have worked on the content for a long time since doing my Trauma Informed Embodied Yoga training and have studied at length about the subjects covered in the course.
The course won’t be perfect (but what is perfect anyway – one thing we will discuss during the course!) and I will see what works and what doesn’t during this first cohort. This is reflected in the price of the course. I welcome constructive feedback during the course and will ask for formal feedback after.

£220 early bird until 31 October, £250 thereafter.
What is included
All live sessions and one to one is delivered online via zoom. If you are local to me, we can arrange the one to ones to be in person if preferred.
- 6×90 minute live sessions during which we will explore a specific aspect of self worth linking in with seasonal energies. There are movement practices inspired by yoga and qigong, meditation practices and pranayama practices plus acupressure points. There is also time for sharing, questions, journaling and connecting during the live sessions.
- Personal support during the course
- Journaling prompts and suggested reading
- 6×20 minute pre recorded practices to support your journey
- Bonus 2×30 minute one to one consultations (worth £65). One before the course starts and one after.
- Small group size of maximum 6 participants to allow plenty of personal support
Who is this course for
This course is aimed at women from all walks of life who have low self confidence or self worth and a critical inner voice. If you are feeling ‘not enough’ or lack because you don’t have confidence to do or try things and live your authentic life. This is also for women who have lost the connection with themselves through external influences or events in their lives and the trust in themselves.

Why work with me
I am a Senior Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance Professionals with over 10 years of teaching experience and 600 hours of training. My own practice has been part of my journey for 30 years. I specialise in seasonal living having trained in advanced yin yoga and meridian theory and I am a Trauma Informed Yoga teacher. In addition, I’m a mindfulness teacher with many years of experience and practice in various meditation practices. I have run mindfulness courses and meditation classes which form part of this course. I have hosted various workshops and courses over the years of teaching, work one to one with clients on various areas and enjoy holding a space for women in a nurturing environment.
I am passionate about this subject and helping people, especially women, live their best and most authentic lives.
What the course entails
During the live sessions we will set intentions, move the body inspired by gentle yoga/somatic movement, qigong, yin yoga and restorative yoga. There will be time and space for (optional) sharing and discussion, reflection and journaling. You will also receive supporting acupressure points in each session. The course is built around the seasonal wellbeing model based on Traditional Chinese Medicine and 5 element theory. Each season teaches you a different aspect of how you can find your confident inner voice and live life in harmony with your authentic self. We all have a dominant season and type and this might change during different stages in life – this course will help you harness your individual energy and help you identify what energy might be deficient or in excess at different times to help balance these energies. The structure of this course allows a slow, gentle pace and space for you to explore. Here are the themes for each session to give you a flavour of the course:
- Arrival – Spring: sowing the seeds
- Inner voice – Summer: connecting with your heart
- Roots – Late Summer: connecting to the earth
- Let go – Autumn: learning to let go of what is no longer needed
- Space – Winter: dropping into stillness to create space within
- Seasonal Wellbeing in your life – harness the wisdom of the seasons to take into your everyday
This is NOT a yoga course where we learn specific postures or talk about the anatomy or alignment of a posture, this is more a personal development course where we tap into our unique self and energy. We will use movement to support this journey but it is all gentle and suitable for all levels and abilities. No previous yoga experience is required to join this course of self discovery.
You will receive the recordings from the classes to practice again in your own time or for missed sessions. There are also extra videos which will have checking in practices, specific journal prompts, reminder of specific acupressure points, relaxation, encouragement and motivation.
