Coastal Bliss Seasonal Yoga Retreat in Pembrokeshire

Next retreat:

Autumn Colours & Wildlife Seasonal Yoga Retreat Friday 9th to Monday 12th October 2026 –  bookings are now open

Autumn Yoga & Hiking Retreat

Join me for a long weekend of pure coastal bliss!

In 2025 I found a gem of a place to host retreats, at the beautiful North Pembrokeshire coast (near Cardigan). I hosted 2 retreats at Cwm Connell in 2025 and in 2026 there will be a very special autumn retreat with nature and wildife connection.

This retreat is for you if you:

  • want to stay in a stunning private cottage (these are terraced cottages – see descriptions for more detail) with your own bedroom, kitchen, bathroom and seating area
  • love walking on a coastal path with stunning seaviews
  • enjoy exploring coastal coves, beaches and wild swimming
  • have a passion for wildlife, nature and conservation
  • thrive being near the calming sea
  • enjoy a mix of yoga, connecting with other like minded people while having space for yourself
  • like relaxing by indulging in a sauna and/or hot tub/jacuzzi

If this spoke to you, read more below!

Our home during the retreat

Your home for the long weekend is the stunning Cwm Connell Coastal Cottages.

Perfectly located in The Pembrokeshire Coast National Park’s most unspoilt corner. Tucked away from roads, in a wonderfully quiet and peaceful location Cwm Connell is the perfect place to unwind and relax.

With stunning views of Cardigan Bay as well as the magnificent Preseli Hills (where the stones for Stonehenge came from!), you’ll find yourself quickly immersed in nature. From your cottage you can choose to follow the stream down through the woods to the little pebbly cove of Ceibwr Bay, or perhaps head along the coast path to the magnificent cliffs of Cemaes Head.

There is a mini spa with beautiful views with a marquis hot tub and hot coals sauna which is available for your use during the retreat.

The oak floored yoga space looks to the coastline to the north and is a very special place to practice.  All our joint meals are at the hay loft, which is perfect for connecting with others and chilling out.

There is ample outdoor space for relaxing or wandering in the woodland nearby with benches and paths to explore and do some forest bathing.

Your team on the retreat

I have a very lovely trusted team behind me when I run retreats.

  • Anja (me) hosting and sharing all yoga sessions and workshops during the retreat
  • My husband Chris or Rosie of Rosie’s real good foods,  your chef preparing delicious homemade meals
  • Phoebe, a local reflexologist offering additional treatments
  • Additional massage therapists on some retreats

About the yoga on this retreat

I’m a senior yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance Professionals with over 30 yoga practice years behind me, a decade of teaching and over 600 training hours. I will guide you safely through seasonal practices which are complimentary for your health and wellbeing.

All my retreats include a mix of yoga&qigong and we have a seasonal focus during the retreat. I am passionate about seasonal living and living in harmony with nature, therefore a lot of my teaching is inspired by the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Celtic celebrations. The practices during the retreat include flow yoga, qigong, yin yoga, restorative yoga, meditation, yoga nidra and pranayama practices. I call yoga my support system without which I wouldn’t function. It extends beyond the mat and so much beyond asana (postures).

There is no requirement to have previous experience, everything is invitational and optional. You are welcome as you are – bendy or not! At the heart of the practice is connection with self and moving in a way that honours you.
