Terms and conditions for Camping and Yoga retreats at Plas run by Anja Yoga:

These T&Cs are written human to human, from me to you. In these terms and conditions ‘I, me, my or myself’ refer to Anja Torikka. My aim is to be reasonable and fair with my terms and conditions. I know things and circumstances change, but as you understand, I have to pay costs in advance as well. My terms and conditions mirror the dates and costs that occur to me.

The basic principle is that you will receive a full refund including your deposit if the venue is not able to receive guests or if I am unable to run the retreat for any reason. However if you decide to cancel your space on the retreat for any reason, the below cancellation policy applies.

As with any holiday, I thoroughly recommend getting a travel insurance. These are generally very reasonably priced. I do not offer advice on the type of insurance you would need. Please note that any claims made are between you and the insurer and myself or the venue have no say in the decision of your chosen insurer.

Payment:

Your deposit of £80 per person is non refundable (except for situations mentioned above). This is payable on booking.

Your final balance is payable 60 days before the retreat. You will receive a payment reminder via email 14 days before each due date.

Payment plans are available, please get in touch on retreats@anjayoga.co.uk to discuss further.

Cancellation Policy:

  • Your deposit is non refundable
  • If you cancel more than 60 days before the start of the retreat, you will only lose your deposit.
  • If you cancel between 30 days and 59 days before the retreat, you will receive a 50% refund from the final balance minus the deposit. The deposit is always non refundable if you cancel your booking.
  • If you cancel less than 30 days before, there will be no refunds.
  • If an alternative date exists for a like to like retreat, you can transfer your space up to 60 days in advance.
  • You can transfer your space to another person at no extra charge. You have to find the person who will take your space and notify me via email on retreats@anjayoga.co.uk with their details

I recommend purchasing a travel insurance.

Activities and weather conditions:

This is a camping retreat in Wales so there is a chance of it raining. Please make sure you have prepared for this as the retreat and activities will go ahead unless there is national advice in place against travelling. We have a covered barn to do activities under if it rains.

The activities during these retreats will be run by qualified instructors (if the activity requires this) with the right insurances and background checks in place.

If part of the retreat activities cannot be done due to weather conditions or an issue that is out of my control, alternative workshops will be offered in place for the value of the activity. This does not make me liable for partial refunds of the payments you have made.

Your health and safety:

In registering for this retreat you agree to accept all risks associated with the event and or service and agree that no liability will be attached to me for any personal injury, illness, delay, loss or damages to property, finances or health.

During the retreat you can go wild swimming in the river on site but this is done at your own risk and no liability will be attached to me for any personal injury, illness or death. Please do not take any unnecessary risks.

You can also choose to go for non guided walks on the various walking routes available from site. Please note these are done at your own risk.

In any specific circumstances, please get in touch with me to discuss. These terms and conditions are there to protect the both of us, but I am happy to discuss your individual circumstance. Please get in touch via email on retreats@anjayoga.co.uk

Pandemics and other special circumstances

Following the covid-19 pandemic and lockdowns in 2020 and 2021 this part of the T&Cs is to clarify my position in case of future events like these. If I am unable to run the retreat due to a national lockdown or national travel restrictions imposed by the government, you are entitled to a full refund. However, if it is your decision not to attend due to ill health or worry about a pandemic or situation, you need to claim any money back from your travel insurance and the cancellation policy above applies. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch with me if you have any concerns on retreats@anjayoga.co.uk
